This acoustic song is so beautiful, I had to share it. Any Spanish speakers out there wouldn’t mind translating a few lines for me? It’s such a beautiful song. I am in love with the melodies and harmonizing. Enjoy.
Over the weekend my mister and I decided that we would sell our Pitchfork Music Festival tickets. Pitchfork is one of our favorite music festivals that occur in Chicago during the summer. We look forward to it every year. This year’s lineup is guaranteed to be awesome. But, we are parents now and the thought of leaving our little one with a babysitter for a weekend, especially while he is now going through separation anxiety, is not something we are comfortable with.

As an avid music lover and concert goer music has been a part of my little guy’s life from when he was still in the womb.
Below are some music themed items I am currently loving.
Baby MP3 Player made of wood. Would love this for the nursery.
Rockabye Baby! Series. These lullaby renditions of artists make bedtime routines even more special.
Earmuffs to muffle sounds at concerts. We received these as a gift from our friend. Not sure we’ll bring the little guy to Pitchfork or Lollapalooza this summer. What is an appropriate age to start bringing your little one to a music festival? I wonder.
What music must haves do you have for your little one?
It’s been five years since the mister and I have attended Coachella. I love living in Chicago. We have Pitchfork, Northcoast Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and many great concert venues to go to all year long; but there’s something about driving to the desert to see your favorite bands with a group of music loving friends that cannot be replaced.
One day Coachella, we will meet again. Till then, there’s always youtube.
